About The Author

Gina Charles was born in Brooklyn and raised on Long Island, New York. As a child she experienced lucid dreaming and subsequently, as an adolescent, developed an early interest in spirituality. Having an affinity for design and illustration, she attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, and became an apparel designer and illustrator. Eventually the new medium of the digital world lured Charles into graphic art and design. Behind the scenes, she continued to pursue an inward journey. Following inner Guidance resulted in the writing and illustrating of her first book, Shift Happens, A Laypersons Guide To Awakening. The book is a product of three decades of metaphysical practice and inquiry as well as being a precursor to a new and fulfilling direction in life.
