Description


The book is a collection of short fiction charting the path of a small, rural community from the late Twentieth Century to 2020. It is a follow up to a prior collection titled "True North." While the community is the consistent character in each of the stories, much of the collection revolves around the presence of New York State's largest ski center, Gore Mountain, in the heart of the Adirondacks.

About The Author


Sterling Goodspeed lives and works in North Creek, NY with his wife Susan, who together run a small town law office. He has lived the majority of his life in his hometown, raising two children there and volunteering and advocating for economic growth, historic preservation and other local issues. The Goodspeed family has called North Creek home for seven generations.
