Seven On Seven Off is a novel that explores a subject that all are interested in at one point or another in their lives; death. Death is often an abstract thought for most people, and those who think of it fall into two camps; one being that of denial from fear, and the other is that death is an event that will not happen to them for some time. No matter what category one may fall into, it is undeniable that death ties all things together. Seven On Seven Off follows David Welborn and his team of "Reapers" as they deal with facing the prospect of death on a daily basis by dealing with the dead themselves. It offers an eye opening account of not only a little known job, but also a realization of how death effects the human condition daily. This raw account and the stories therein will bring you emotions of sadness, empathy, hope, compassion, and an array of others - all at once.
