Douglass is a seasoned global business executive and trusted board advisor, recognized for his expertise in financial oversight, regulatory strategy, corporate governance, and business transformation. With a 35 year career spanning Wall Street, Fortune 500 corporations, and global advisory roles, Loren has established a reputation as a leader who drives operational efficiency, risk management, and strategic growth for organizations navigating complex market dynamics. As a former executive at AIG, BNY Mellon, Goldman Sachs, General Electric, and Merrill Lynch, Loren has successfully led large-scale transformation initiatives, financial restructurings, and compliance programs that have delivered measurable cost savings and enhanced operational effectiveness. His experience across financial services, fintech, economic development, and investment sectors provides him with a broad perspective on governance, capital markets, and regulatory affairs. A dynamic leader, Loren has also made significant contributions in the nonprofit and academic sectors through board service at the Johns Hopkins University, the Manhattan School of Music, and Jazz at Lincoln Center. His governance experience includes audit, risk, and development committees, where he has played a key role in financial oversight, fundraising, and strategic planning. Currently serving as the National President and Chairman of the Board of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, Loren is leading a global digital transformation of the prestigious organization, which includes luminaries such as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Vernon Jordan, and Ken Chenault. He is also the driving force behind the Harvey C. Russell, Jr. Institute of International Business and Strategic Coalitions, dedicated to using market-based strategies to solve social problems. Loren graduated from the Johns Hopkins University with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. He earned his MBA in finance from The Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, he has an MA with a dual major in international economics and international law from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies of the Johns Hopkins University.
