Overview
In her debut poetry collection, Susan Flynn delves into our basic humanity, uncoupling mind from body and examining each in darkness and in light. She offers an illuminating encounter with the very concept of being—what it means to love, dream, grieve, and remember. Flynn's passionate poems unflinchingly expose an aching tenderness on these transitory journeys of life with an intimacy that scrapes our emotional and physical selves—a revelation of all that waits behind the shadows.
