“Rina Torri’s Secret of the Jetty is a marvelous sleuth mystery that keeps the reader guessing as the three sleuths work alongside a journalist and the police to solve the mystery of the dead woman on the jetty. What better sleuths could you ask for than a reference librarian, an English teacher, and a nurse practitioner? The reader just has to know from the distinguished backgrounds of the trio that their investigative powers will be prodigious -- and they are. I loved following them as they used their collective talents to search for the killer and enjoyed rummaging through the collection of red herrings the author tosses into the mix. There’s also a bit of romance to go along with the sunny shores of northern San Diego and the awfulness of a cold-blooded murderer. In her mystery novel Secret of the Jetty, Torri blends authentic and credible characters with a plausible and hard-to-solve mystery. It’s most highly recommended.”
