Mark Rudd moved to California in the summer of 2004 to pursue a career in music as a singer songwriter. After recording his first solo album ("Go Ahead and Love on Somebody") and touring throughout the United States, Rudd switch gears focusing on his degree in Graphic Design and illustration. After spending a Christmas with his niece and nephew in snowy Michigan, Rudd thought of the Secret Holiday series and decided to pursue a career writing and illustrating Children's Books. "Secret Holiday: The Discovery of Furry Friend" and his production company Soda Pop Inc. soon came to life there after. Rudd currently resides in Los Angeles California and is working on the next installment of the Secret Holiday series.
