Description

Colquat is a tiny island off the New England coast, almost too small to be noticed by anyone -- save a very few discerning vacationers, and, somewhat earlier in Colquat's history, smugglers and pirates. For several generations now the islanders have relied on one sole income, the Colquat Inn. But the Inn burns to the ground just days before season opens. Where do they turn now? Should they sell to developers? Move off the island? Then something happens -- maybe something wonderful -- if one can call having several tons of high grade marijuana wash up on the beach!

About the author

Five novels, four screenplays, several magazine articles. Themes marine related, island connected; characters the usual suspects. Locations on the warm side. The action sometimes slick, sometimes sleazy -- usually funny. A Vietnam era veteran, finishing school courtesy of a state university system. Worked teaching in the public schools, ran a couple of bars, caught fish, and delivered more boats throughout the Caribbean and the East Coast than he cares to count.
