Michael Bowker lives in Santa Barbara and owns a literary company that specializes in writing and publishing memoirs, biographies, how-tos, and narrative nonfiction for clients. He is a best-selling author whose 16 books include Playing from the Heart (Random House), Fatal Deception (Simon & Schuster), The Visionary Leader (Random House), and Winning the Battle Within (Kele Books). He has written more than 4.000 magazine articles, served as the senior speech writer for the mayor of Los Angeles, and served as executive editor of a national business magazine.
