About the author
Tyler McKenzie Johns was born in Pomona, California. He was raised in Roseville and currently lives in Turlock. He had autism and went through many childhood difficulties. He created Sammy Scorpion after he and his family moved to Turlock. He was inspired to create his own comic books after reading Captain Underpants by Dav Pilkey.
