A Poetry book that tells the Past, Present, and Future of African American History.

In this short poetry book, you will see that there are three chapters titled the past present and future. These chapters tell poems of African American history and how I portrayed the events happening in the past and the present whilst assuming the future. Each poem is crafted to display each event so they can be understood and appreciated.

My name is Jalaysha Malik, I am 17 years old. I have always written poetry since being a young girl but have never really thought it could take me anywhere. I am the oldest of 3 siblings and thought I could do something to inspire them. I have traveled a lot in my life and have seen society from all different perspectives and knew I could write something that would hopefully resonate with several people and open eyes too.
