About The Author

Taylor and her ten-year-old son, Nikola, live in Western North Carolina. Taylor is a Social Worker and has a love for children beyond measure. Taylor dedicates most of her time to making her and Nikola’s life experiences unforgettable. They love spending time at Fontana Lake, traveling, riding bikes, camping at music festivals, and (last but not least) playing video games. Nikola has been obsessed with reading books since before he could talk. Nikola and Taylor decided to write a children’s book after Hurricane Helene. During the storm, Nikola was with his father, Will. Will resides in one of the many towns devastated by Hurricane Helene. Together, Taylor and Nikola do what they call ‘a positive dance’ when things are tough. When you are struggling, Taylor and Nikola encourage you to do your own positive dance as dancing always makes things better. When Nikola grows up, he wants to be an author, a movie producer, or have his own YouTube channel. Taylor wants to grow up to somehow be a kid again. Taylor is hoping that Nikola will create a time machine to make that possible.
