About The Author

Nancy Vallar is a public speaker and author specializing in helping others find hope and healing through faith and poetry. She's from Iowa and has a B.S. in Human Relations from Rockford University with SPHR certification. After beginning her career in staffing, she pursued her passion to embark upon a journey as a Human Resources Specialist, working closely with people. She is also an avid public speaker within various ministries and through Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centered, 12-step recovery program for anyone struggling with hurt, hang-ups, and habits of any kind. Upon retiring from her professional HR career in 2022, she was inspired to write her second book, a devotional called "Sacred Seasons." Our seasons of life are all sacred; some are painful, and others are filled with joy and gratitude, but they're all connected to God. She hopes beloved readers will glean truths that will set them free in a way they've never experienced.

Well written and soulful devotional! Nancy has written a beautiful devotional with stories and scripture to comfort your soul, to reflect on things from a sacred space. Nancy has divided her devotional by topics. Some of the topics are peace, control, acceptance, sacrifice, isolation, gods armor and blessings under trial. All of which are relevant for a time such as this! This book would make a great gift for the special people in your life and for the special person that is you!
