Ruby's Peaches is a children's picture book about a little girl named Ruby who, together with her family, lives and works on a fruit farm.

The story presents the wonders of life by illustrating growth. As the fruit grows on the trees, Ruby grows as she begins to learn to read.

Cindy Madara holds degrees from Rowan University, NJ and LaSalle University, Philadelphia in Education and Bilingual Studies/Spanish. She grew up working on a peach and apple farm in South Jersey, where she still lives today with her husband and two children.
