About the author
Born in Jacksonville, Florida, Carol Speer Hader had the good fortune to live until the age of 10 in the penthouse of the George Washington Hotel where her father was the resident manager. Due to her father's failing health, her life dramatically changed when the family moved from the penthouse to small town southern living in Alabama. Her current book Room Service, Please is a memoir of this unique southern belle. She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi, became a certified professional consultant, a senior level human resources consultant, a technical recruiter for Apple Computer, a wholesale importer of ladies clothing, and directed numerous other entrepreneurial endeavors. Carol is married with 3 children, 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and lives in Atlanta, Georgia
