Roach the Pony

Roach the Pony is an urban legend brought to life by combining the unique talents of 2 world class musicians, Sal "King" "Cappi" Capozucca, the Rousers drummer, and bass player and founding member of the Spin Doctors, Mark White. Roach the Pony is a semi-autobiographical story of a field trip for a group of inner city students taking their first visit to a Dude Ranch in the Catskill Mountains. The story revolves around Little Chuckie, and his trials and tribulations as he overcomes run ins with school roughnecks and his surprising relationship with the surprising underdog, Roach the Pony. The exciting short story covers many of todays hot buttons, prejudice, bullying and interpersonal relationships. The book will have you laughing, cringing and crying as Little Chuckie navigates his way through some tough life lessons. Roach the Pony is the first in a series of books about Little Chuckie and some of the harrowing and hilarious situations he and his friend encounter growing up in Brooklyn, NYC.

Born and raised in Brooklyn,NY, Sal "King" "Cappi" Capozucca, has led a very colorful life, and has finally set pen to paper to share some of his most exhilarating stories. Originally on a path to become an attorney, Sal dropped out of law school to become the youngest licensed broker on Wall St. After two years of making big bucks, Sal dropped out to become a rock and roll star, and toured the globe playing drums with The Boyfriends, The Rousers, The Mockingbirds, and Syntax Error, where he met bass player extraordinaire, Mark White, founding member of multi-platinum selling band,the Spin Doctors and illustrator of Roach the Pony.
