Description

This book is an inspirational non-fiction story written to inspire little Black girls to rise up like other successful Black women who have risen to become who they are today despite the challenges they faced growing up. These strong, Black women among many others can inspire us to be all that we desire to be no matter the challenges.

About the author

Latasha Scranton is a wife and mother to two Black queens and an elementary educator with over ten years of experience. She also holds a degree in school counseling. Latasha has always loved children's books, especially non-fiction books that educate our youth.

Lanitta 		Very Inspiring Book I bought this book for my 2-year-old daughter. She recites the lines with me word for word and gets so excited to see females like her in the book. She knows the title and repeating lines by heart. I haven't been able to get her to pick another story a bedtime. I appreciate that my daughter is able to read a story that she can relate to.
