About the author
Thomas S. Connelly is a retired executive, business consultant, and philanthropist. Through his philanthropic activities, he's encountered a number of individuals who have experienced major health setbacks but made remarkable recoveries. How and why is it that some individuals reach the level of recovery that their medical professionals could reasonably expect, while others greatly exceed that expectation? Tom has tried to depict survivors' attitudes and motivational methods in the hopes that others, along with their family and friends, facing serious health reversals may be able to draw upon the success of these exceptional individuals for their own recoveries.
