Dr. Dan Martin is a pediatric occupational therapist, educator, and professor with a passion for helping children thrive. Throughout his clinical and teaching experience, he has witnessed the powerful impact that sensory breaks can have on a child's regulation, attention, and overall well-being. Inspired by a desire to help families better understand and implement sensory breaks in everyday life, he created this book to make these concepts accessible, practical, and engaging. The included journal pages are designed to help families apply what they learn from the story in meaningful ways. In partnership with his dear friend and talented illustrator, Beau Guenin, this book was brought to life with the hope of encouraging and blessing families around the world.
