Our story starts in the 1950's. We follow the life of a young woman who unexpectedly loses her husband. Now she is faced with the unimaginable task of starting a new life on her own. What choices will she make for her life now and in the future?

The story I have created was a labor of love. I couldn't wait to see how it turned out. The story was tempered with small nuances I could relate to myself, as an adoptive parent. My husband, kids, and I live in a Mid-western town that has a small-town feel but with a big heart.

My interest in writing comes with a female perspective, of course, but the women in my stories are capable and strong. While being charming and kind.

When not writing, I like to fish with my kids, golf, cook and bake, paint, laugh, drink wine.
