Revenge on Red Mountain

A very rich Colorado business man and a local sheriff seek revenge for the death of their sons, who both died from a drug overdose. In an attempt to get revenge the men plan the killing of nine known or suspected drug dealers in their town of Douglas, Colorado. The Sheriff does the killing and business pays the sheriff $10,000.00 for each dealer killled. All together they murdered 9 young men thought to be drug dealers. However, one of the suspected dealers killed turns out not to be a drug dealer but is the grandson of the local Godfather. The sheriff and the business man were never convicted of the murders and walked away free from the legal community. However, they did not walk away free from the Godfather.

The first eight young men killed were involved in drug distribution and selling of drugs but the 9th person killed had nothing to do with drugs and was the grandson of the local mafia Godfather. Who now seeks his own revenge against the rich man and the sheriff. The Godfather hires a private investigator who sets both the rich man and the sheriff via a deceptive fictional con. The sheriff ends up being charged with murder and goes to court. The sheriff beats the courts but does not beat the Godfather. From the first chapter this is a page burner and holds your interest throughout all the sub-stories.

Mickey Snead is a retired business man and lives in Golden, Colorado with his wife of 40 years. He has one daughter who also lives in Colorado. Mickey has a BS in Journalism from West Virginia University and writes fictional books. An avid outdoorsman, Mickey grew up in Point Pleasant, West Virginia and moved to Colorado after serving in the U.S. Army. He enjoys running, biking, kayaking and Pickleball. He and his wife spend the winter months in Naples, Florida.
