Overview

Hot lesbian romance.
Revealing Philippa is a story of love, suffering, and moving on...

Description

When talented Maggie joins Funicular Theatre, she is mesmerised by Philippa, the star of the company. The strangely compelling actress treats Maggie with disdain. Yet behind her façade of indifference, Philippa is suffering, forcing herself to hide her equally passionate interest in Maggie.

Will these two ever get it together... for longer than one (more) sexy romp in bed? Will Maggie ever land her one true love without blurting any (more) love comic clichés? Will Philippa ever stop acting the ice maiden and reveal her true self?

Set in romantic New Zealand, Revealing Philippa has a strong cast of likeable characters, plenty of high drama and camp hilarity, lots of comings (and goings), but no coming-out trauma, no preaching, and no one dies in the end.

About the author

Ragini Werner's short fiction has been published in literary magazines in New Zealand, Belgium, the Netherlands and the United States. Revealing Philippa is her first full-length novel.

Born Dutch in Indonesia (Jakarta), Ragini moved to New Zealand when she was four, and grew up speaking English. She left New Zealand in 1976 and after sojourns in Australia (Sydney) and England (London), arrived in the Netherlands (Amsterdam) in 1980, where she worked as a corporate journalist. In 2000 she followed her heart to the far north of the Netherlands and set up a successful editing + translation business. Writing remains a passion.
