Michael Hughes, the author of "Remembering the Christmas House," draws inspiration from his own cherished memories of a Christmas house he frequented during his childhood. This nostalgic setting serves as the foundation for the enchanting tale he weaves. Beyond his passion for writing, Michael is a co-founder of the Golden Gate Movement, a social outreach program dedicated to supporting students who may feel disenfranchised, marginalized, or invisible in schools (goldengatemovement.org). As a retired secondary school administrator, he brings a wealth of experience and empathy to his work, nurturing an inclusive environment for young minds to thrive. Michael's multifaceted life extends beyond his literary pursuits. He is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who finds joy in various artistic endeavors, including cartooning, composing and performing music, and capturing the beauty of nature through photography. Residing in Orem, Utah, with his wife, Lisa, Michael continues to inspire and uplift readers with his heartfelt storytelling.
