Reflections

"Reflections" is a collection of poems written by Richard Flores during his time in a retirement community. Originally written to praise and share with his exceptionally accomplished friends and family, Richard has organized the poems into four categories—friendship, thoughts, fun, and toasts to the lassies. Each category brings you through different aspects of Richard's life, allowing you to see beyond the pages and into his life. As you read his words, he hopes that he conveys the deep connectivity and admiration he has with his friends and nature. Richard's recent experience in preparing this collection introduced a growing need for a better understanding of mental health care and the pain of loneliness. He sincerely trusts that each reader will enjoy and share his thoughts.
