About The Author

Dr. Scott R. Forrest is a dynamic and engaging speaker who has been teaching the Word of God for 25 years. He is a licensed minister with Word of Life Ministries and recently completed his sixth year as Director of the School of Ministry, the two year Bible School at Word of Life Center Church in Shreveport, Louisiana. His wife Trish serves at his side as Administrative Assistant and uses her organizational gifts to help him run the school. Dr. Forrest is a combat decorated military pilot with 29 years of aviation service with both the US Marine Corps and the Air Force Reserve. He earned his Ph.D. in Engineering in 2004 with research and emphasis in the field of micro and nanosystems. In 2008 he was appointed as Director of the Technology Transfer Center (Louisiana Tech University) in Shreveport. Dr. Forrest regularly uses his military flying experience and his background in engineering and science to offer a unique perspective and complement his teaching of the Word of God.
