Description

Once upon an orbit of Fait, a creative, playful, young girl named NARIAH and her flustered yet resourceful single father RENE must endure sickness, encounter exotic creatures, escape a predatory government, and outwit a wicked wizard in order to save the diverse beings of their world from ghostly enslavement. To fulfill their promise to the good shaman who cured their illness, Rene and Nariah must use their special gifts—and rely on each other—to escape the prison-city TETRAPOLIS, from which no being has ever escaped. Beyond Tetrapolis, the persistently playful and courageously cooperative father and daughter duo must use their creativity, faith, and problem-solving to cross the treacherous black quicksand desert of the Western Wilds to reach Mount Veda, the sacred volcano which each night erupts enchanted blue lava. There, they must enlist the help of REDEMPTOR, the only one who can stop GENERAL GORCHEN, the terrible tyrant who rules Tetrapolis, from conquering the rest of Planet Fait the next morning. But Nariah and Rene are not the only ones heading to Mount Veda that night. Should they reach Mount Veda in time and alive, Nariah and Rene will discover that not everyone is whom one claims to be, and together they will unlock the greatest secret of all—the true identity and full power of Redemptor—and learn that in life we can become that at which we play. In addition to the main adventure of Nariah and Rene's journey, REDEMPTOR FUTURE SHAMAN includes 9 interludes, which represent Planet Fait's equivalents of earthly "fairy tales" called "sylva stories." Featuring over 35 full-color illustrations, REDEMPTOR FUTURE SHAMAN presents a new super-hero fairy tale for a new generation to quicken the pulse, empower the heart, and challenge the imaginations of children and adults alike.
