Unbeknown to his fans as a jazz icon the world over, Steven, due to his extra-marital affair with Suzanne, his mistress, had his life emotionally changed forever when then his wife, Glenda, brutally murdered Suzanne in cold blood whom, later, died in prison. But little did he also know that this was only the beginning... Now eleven years on, Steven would start his new love interest with Marta, a gorgeous Black woman born to an Ethiopian Father and a German mother who works as a stewardess for a private air carrier, in hopes of moving on from the past, but lurking in the shadows is Tais who’s out for revenge against Steven whom she holds responsible for her cousin Suzanne’s death.

Over the last 25 years, Roulon McClennon has been an aspiring screenwriter with over 14 scripts to his credits with nearly two dozen more in development. He's also a poet and comic book creator. His novel, Redeemed on a Blue Note, is the first of three installments. Currently, as of this writing, Roulon is pursuing his degree in English at Berkeley City College and anticipates going on to a four-year institution along with continuing his writing career. He lives in Richmond, California.
