About the author


Catherine H. Cieciuch DeBenedetto is the co-founder of Moriah Ministries which encourages women to take time out at the feet of Jesus. A graduate and former lecturer at Rutgers University-Newark, she received the Graduate Dean's Award for her work on controversial uses of science and technology in regard to women and worked with the Rutgers College of Nursing Alumni Association to develop a greater awareness of bioethical issues relevant to the community-at-large. Catherine is a former associate producer and co-host of a local access talk show which focused on subjects of concern to the unchurched audience with the goal of pointing viewers toward the love of Christ. She is the wife of a seminary graduate and the mother of one daughter and is not ashamed to describe herself as a Christian who cries.
