Overview
A collection of quotes, poems, thoughts, and questions from imaginary folks I allow to hang out up in my head, the same guy who wrote Highway 23, The Unrepentant, a novel set in the early 50s, in Michigan. I call it an action/romance. Unlike Highway 23, Quien F!#kin' Sabe? isn't a story. It's a collection of thoughts, essays, quotations and poems by fictional friends in my head. While assembling material for ¿Quien F!#kin' Sabe? I ran into recurring characters like Mister Romance, Allison Wonderland, Senator Argo Stropmore, 47811 Up Above, Frank The Wanderer and others. So I made up a newspaper where they all work. The Daily Sh*t, a happening newspaper about Sh*t! that's happening looks like the papers in the old 1930s and 40s. Besides being featured in ¿Quien F!#kin' Sabe? these fine folks will have Op Ed chunks on the website that are current. There are also questions (some with answers, some without) and Stoner Doodles included. No latrine should be without this fine book.

These excerpts from the Daily Sh*t and audios and/or videos from my wrap ups on Sunday morning's Woodstock Roundtable on WDST 100.1 There are also t-shirts available with ¿Quien F!#kin' Sabe? on the front and Hopelessness is not a bummer on the back. Hopelessness Is Not A Bummer is a poem by Allison Wonderland. It's in the book and it's upbeat. The t-shirts are black and made in the USA. There's also a beautiful poster of the P-O-T poem that I wrote back in 1976.
About the author
When it comes to comedy, the Carlin family has it infused in their DNA. Whether it was legendary stand up George Carlin who changed course of comedy for so many aspiring comics, his daughter Kelly who has brought her unique brand of spoken word to the stage in recent years, they are clearly a talented bunch. The same is true of George's older brother Patrick, who is quite possibly one of the most interesting people you will ever encounter. Patrick Carlin is a novelist, essayist and humorist who is frequently called upon to remember his legendary brother. His amazing life has taken him from the United States Air Force to The Ed Sullivan Show to The Gong Show to the comedy stage and beyond. At 81 years young, it seems he is just warming up! He has recently released an eclectic new book, "¿Quien F!#kin Sabe" .
