About the author
Carole Booth's inspiration for Princess Whinny came from two remarkable horses, Holly and Maple. Her husband adopted Maple, a playful filly nicknamed "Princess Whinny," who loved opening locks and wandering off on adventures. Lady Holly, their senior horse, became her protector. Watching Maple grow, Carole imagined a brave princess disguised as a horse, inspiring her novel about a princess who transforms into a horse and saves a kingdom.
