About The Author


Beth Anne Harrison was born in Houston, Texas but moved with her family to West Virginia at age four. She grew up in the country with her three siblings and cat, Blackie. She spent her days playing in the woods, writing poetry, songs, and stories, and reading lots of books. While attending college, she realized her talent when a professor told her she should publish one of her writings. After marrying her husband, Charlie, she began teaching kindergarten. They soon started a family and she spent her time raising their children but continued writing. After teaching for several years, she decided to stay home and pursue her dream of becoming an author and illustrator. Often writing from her own experiences her stories will capture the hearts of young and old readers alike, with their sense of humor and love for adventure. Beth Anne resides in Charleston, West Virginia with her husband, dogs Marley and Penny, and cat James. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, reading, traveling, and doing art in a local studio.
