About The Author
Nathen Grayye was born in Liberty, New York, in the heart of the infamous Borscht Belt and raised in an orthodox Jewish family. After leaving the Faith as a young adult, he embarked on a journey across America, working construction and living among people from every walk of life.
Having lived in New York, southern Virginia, Washington DC, New Mexico, and Louisiana, Nathen witnessed firsthand the cultural divides, prejudices, and social tensions that shape modern society. His experiences gave him a unique perspective on human behavior, identity, and the ways people separate themselves from one another. While living in Washington DC, during the Covid-19 pandemic and its unprecedented lockdowns, Nathen observed new forms of division and intolerance that challenged many of his assumptions about society. Those experiences inspired him to write Planet Bigotry, a thought provoking exploration of prejudice in its many forms. Nathen is currently working on a memoir chronicling his years pioneering in one Washington DC's most dangerous neighborhoods.
