Mongo Allen is a former educator who launched a podcast series called "The Movement with Mongo." The podcast is an outreach to people suffering from the effects of mental illness, generational poverty, and addiction. Allen has spent over 20 years working as an educational administrator and mental health professional. His podcast provides listeners with community resources, that emphasize faith, spiritual empowerment, recovery and a belief that the chains of addiction can be broken. Allen holds a bachelor's degree in graphic art from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and master's degree in education and education administration from the University of Central Oklahoma University.
