About The Author


Joe has worked at Rogue Community College for over 20 years. He is passionate about the need for humans to mitigate climate damage as soon as possible. Joe's wife suggested he write a children's book about climate. One of Joe's students, Bethany Steskal, took a writing class from Joe about the same time he began writing Pete the Pebble. Together they brought this book to life.
