This book has brought me much healing writing it and my hope is to bring healing to those that read it by interacting with the journaling prompts within the book and knowing you are not alone. It consists of short stories and poems of events in my life that changed me somehow.

I am a very private person but within the past two years, I've been called to write this book and to share my stories with the world. I wish you to find comfort in these words. I wish you to find the path that heals you. I wish you to shed what no longer serves your highest good because you are worthy and deserving.

My name is Jessica Velez Fiscus, I am a Reiki Master Teacher. I am a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence and addiction. I am a mother of five children, my youngest daughter is Type One Diabetic. I have been writing since I was a child but did not start sharing my stories until I was an adult.
