About the author
With his work fondly described as "Kerouac meets Salinger", Andre R Hopper is a Cincinnati native and a Seattle transplant. In the Emerald City, he was able to hone his talent, taking advantage of life experience mostly stemming from unfortunate situations. Between novels, Andre is an accomplished chef and has worked in a variety of jobs, including Seattle bartender, Alabama bricklayer, New Orleans telemarketer and Indianapolis gas station cashier. Most fascinating by far would be his brief stint performing in a Pensacola carnival sideshow, as "Jimmy the Crackhead", an impulsive and amusing character highlighting the terrors of long-term drug abuse. While Andre is not perfecting his literary vision and voice, he is a guitarist, NHL fan, punk rock enthusiast and struggling with an unhealthy addiction to 1980's hair bands.
