About the author
Leslie Irish Evans was born in Pontiac, Michigan. She attended the University of Michigan where she graduated with a double-major B.A. in Communication and Creative Writing. In 2006, she became a licensed massage therapist as well as a nationally board certified reflexologist and certified aromatherapist. She served as host of the Seattle-based radio shows Peeling Mom Off the Ceiling and Get Touched and is a blogger for The Huffington Post. She co-authored the book Mom Entrepreneur Extraordinaire. Leslie’s interests include travel, mixology, reading (mainly history and biographies), and keeping tabs on her two college-aged children via social media. When they’re not traveling the country in their Airstream trailer, Leslie and her husband Chris live on Whidbey Island in Washington’s Puget Sound.
