Pandy and Lady Lady: Lessons in Friendship is a story of the friendship between a lady and a foal. As their friendship grows, they share lessons on being a friend and having a friend. Based on a true story set during the Pandemic, the importance of having friends in your life at any age, is celebrated and cherished.

Pandy and Lady Lady: Lessons in Friendship shares the following lessons of friendship: Friendship Lesson 1: Be kind to everyone you meet. Not everyone you meet will be a special friend. Special friends are a gift. Your heart will know when you meet a special friend. Friendship Lesson 2: Having a special friend means getting to know your friend. When your friend is happy, you are happy. Friendship Lesson 3: Having a special friend does not mean you can't have other friends. Special friends are never jealous of your other friends. Friendship Lesson 4: Sometimes your friend will hurt you. If your friend did not mean to hurt you, your friendship will be stronger than the hurt and the fear of being hurt again. Friendship Lesson 5: Having a special friendship is a gift. Special friends are forever friends.

Elaine Fogliani is a former teacher and school superintendent. She lives at Shenandoah Crossing near Gordonsville, Virginia with her wonderful husband Doug and three fabulous cats. This book was inspired by the horses who live at Shenandoah Crossing that she visits during her morning walks. She and co-author, Betsy Hunter, have been friends for nearly forty years!
