About the author
Valerie has 3 adult children and 3 grandsons. She started writing in 1970 with a poem about Christmas Eve. It took many years for her to build up the courage to put pen to paper. She loves to write in rhyme and to see her words come to light with collaboration from fantastic illustrators. Her first book "Who Let the Kids In?" was released in December of 2022.
