Inspired by the book of Psalms, "On This Day" is divided into five sections, Joy & Pain, Praise!, Awe & Adoration (Oh! The Glory), Intercession, and Expectation. Joy & Pain, reflects on the spirit of gratitude, the necessity of surrender, confession and repentance, the longing for God, and seeking the presence of God and the blessed assurance He provides in response. Praise! focuses on the declarations made in worship and thanksgiving to honor God for His righteousness, His word, His work of redemption for us, and just for being God in our lives! Awe & Adoration (Oh! The Glory) basks in the Presence of God and magnifies His name, His authority, how He operates in creation, within His creation to perform signs and wonders so that we may know that He is God. Intercession features several prayers for deliverance, overcoming sickness and despair, and encouragement in adversity. During these trying times, we as believers are called to stand in the gap for others, not just the people we are closest to, but for everyone. Finally, Expectation encourages us to remain faithful despite the difficulties we may face and continue to do the work God has called us to, in season and out of season.
