Certified ninth degree black belt with the prestigeous Jidokwan, he has been certified as a black belt practitioner with the Kukkiwon since 1975 and is the regional director for the United States National Taekwondo Federation and the World Koryo Gumdo Association. As the first western athlete to win a full contact title with the World Taekwondo Federation in Asia he has been a pioneer for the arts in America for fifty years.
