Overview

This is a poetry book with twelve (12) stanzas. It should interest children, 5-13 years of age; younger or older. Each line is a year in the life of Nigel, my nephew. I had the privilege of living with Nigel, from a toddler till the age of seven (7). He is an exceptional young man along with my other nieces, nephews and all children who continue to touch my life. The illustrations for this book were designed from Harriatt Creations: With a colorful, defined and descriptive remake of Nigel’s life in poetic verse by the gifted, illustrious and talented; Meika Harriatt.

Description
This poetry book begins as Nigel is a toddler and each verse describes the first twelve (12), years of his life. It is filled with rhymes and reasons why I was always amazed by his character as a child. I spent countless hours with him and was compelled to watch him grow and eventually made his story into poetic verses. It is for all my nieces and nephews and to fill the hearts of children. The book title: OH NIGEL IS THAT YOU ?… is simply in gratitude to his parents; my brother Mark and his wife Toni, who raised four children: Mark Jr., Sherisse, Aaron and Nigel. I was fortunate enough to live with Nigel, not having children of my own. I loved and laughed alongside him as he grew and excelled in French, music and all the opportunities his parents provided.
