"Of Cats and Kings" is a story of faith, adventure, love, and the battle of good versus evil, with a touch of fantasy to delight cat-lovers. All is as it should be in the tiny, charming village of Merrihill in the Kingdom of Marqhaven. When two strangers appear during the annual Spring Festival, someone overhears them talking in the village pub and hinting at treachery from a neighboring king. The unexpected treachery could destroy a fragile peace in the making after a recent war's controversial end. Someone must follow the strangers when they leave, confirm the suspected danger, and warn their king. Two brave Merrihill men; a determined young girl; four loyal and resourceful cats; and a mild-mannered, wise, and supernaturally gifted Grandmother join forces to protect their kingdom. Their faith and trust in each other and God will be tested, and their choices will mean the difference between victory and losing all they love.
