About the author
Gloria Eleanor (Porter) Pope was born in Logan, Utah. She attended Weber State College and the University of Utah where she received her Associate and Bachelor's degrees in Nursing. Following graduation, she served a health mission to the Philippines for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She retired from nursing when her third child was born to devote full time to her growing family. When she isn't writing, you can find her cooking, sewing, embroidering, singing with the Durango Chorale Society, composing music, or killing expensive plants. She is not a gardener. She and her husband, Charles, live in Colorado. They are the parents of five children.
