Linda A. Kviz is a retired graphic designer who also loves to write poetry, create collages, dabble with assorted art forms, and who has found meaning exploring the spiritual experience of "receiving photos," as introduced in Christine Valters Paintner's book, Eyes of the Heart. In recent years, explorations with varied poetry forms were woven together with photographs, in the process blending together a sense of meaningful awareness along with an invitation to meditative moments. By guiding the reader to encounter God in new ways, Linda seeks to stimulate a time for relaxation, reflection, and eventually action — fostering each person's movement through new spiritual experiences.
Linda's first book, Reaching Skyward: New Journeys for the Soul, was published in 2016, followed by her second book, Emerging Visions: Reflections Along the Journey in 2017. She uses her gifts of encouragement and creativity to plan women's retreats and seminars at her local church. Linda is married and lives in the western suburbs of Chicago with her husband. They enjoy vacation trips to Arizona and fishing in Wisconsin.
