About The Author


Jaime M Prater was born in 1976, in Chicago Illinois. Jaime's mother and father, swept away by the remnants of the 70s Jesus Movement wound up raising Jaime, his younger sister, and older brother in Jesus People USA, on Chicago's north side. Jaime began painting and creating at the age of 7, taken in by all things Jim Henson, his favorite all time film being The Dark Crystal. As the years passed, Jaime would eventually enroll at Columbia College Chicago's film and video program, where he would minor in documentary studies and creative writing. Jaime is on the heels of releasing his first feature length documentary entitle No Place To Call Home. Notes From A Bionic Womb is his first published piece.
