Overview
The grass is always greener on the other side. Jason has a life that is assumed, by bystanders, to be that grass on the other side. Yet, his life turns into being the dead grass on the same side as everyone else. Except, maybe, a little closer to being dead more than others.
Unable to change his fate, he resigns to the fact that he cannot change what he holds no power over. So he chooses to have control over the one thing that he can, whatever and whoever is within his reach. The only constant he can't seem to get rid of, is his roommate.
