Aerion Glavac‑Skinner is an American‑born, Australian‑raised writer, mentor, and advocate dedicated to turning pain into purpose. Her debut memoir, Not Another Statistic, traces her journey from foster care, cultural displacement and setbacks to faith, healing, and self‑discovery. Through her story she reminds readers that adversity isn't the end of a life but it's the beginning of transformation. Aerion's mission is to help others break down the barriers of shame, fear, and circumstance that hold them back from becoming who they're meant to be. She envisions creating a youth camp of her own, a haven where young people can heal, share their truths, and discover their inner strength. Just as she once did through the guidance of those who believed in her. Today she continues to write, speak, and encourage others to believe that nothing is impossible especially when love, faith, and perseverance meet. Aerion lives her message daily teaching that every story, no matter how complicated, can become a key to light for someone else.
