Mike McNeill is an author, long time recording artist, and motivational youth speaker. Back in the heydays of the Source Magazine, Mike McNeill was a recording artist that was signed to Ray Benzino’s Surrender Records. Mike had one foot in the music industry as a part of a rap group called the Wise Guys doing music with elite artist such as Wyclef, Scareface, 32, Spice-1 and a list of top producers. This was all while having his other foot deep into the drugs selling and gang violence of the 1990’s and early 2000’s. As Wiseguys reigned as the biggest rap group in Boston, Mike stood out as one of the biggest drug dealers in the city at that time selling many kilograms of cocaine which often called for some brutal violence! Violence wasn’t just left in the streets conflicts started happening in the professional world as well. Mike came across violent encounters with athletes like Lawyer Milloy and Paul Pierce. He also had run-ins with gold and platinum selling artist DMX and the Lox! As Mike’s music career started to vanish so did his lucrative drug business, which led him to a very dark place. False love, disloyalty, lies and deceit are just a few of the elements that lead up to the book titled No Hard Feelings!
Since the release of No Hard Feelings, Mike has dedicated his time as well as some of his profits to bettering his community, by way of mentoring youth. In hopes of keeping them from experiencing the horrors of his past!
