About the author

Raizy Goffman is a horse show Judge and Steward, and equine bronze sculptor who was an elementary school teacher many moons ago. While in college at The University of California Berkley, she had the inspiration for "Nile" when responding to a class assignment. (It was the only A + + she ever received.) Nile is finally in print for all children to enjoy and to hopefully learn to love themselves. Raizy lives in Southern California with a life full of horse shows and dog shows.
